Top-heavy brainiac Sena Kashiwazaki sparked a huge following and demand back in 2011 when the first season of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai aired.
Good Smile Company based their rendition of Sena one of the light novel’s cover art, similar to their take on Yozora Mikazuki.
Before befriending her fellow cast, the only companion Sena is seen with is her blue butterfly hair pin. Much like in real life, good looks (based on personal taste™) and intellect are all for naught if you’re arrogant and self-centered.
Sena does not only combat jealous tormentor Yozora but also her overwhelming affection for male protagonist Kodaka Hasegawa, often resulting in embarrassing encounters which forces the character to dash outside the room in tears.
In my humble and completely unbiased opinion, GSC’s Sena is by far the superior version in terms of craftsmanship compared to the other Kashiwazakis out there. When it comes to resemblance however I do think that Griffon has managed to better capture the unique art of illustrator Buriki.
