Satellizer el Bridget (Sexy version) by FREEing
Project details
Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Satellizer el Bridget, also ironically referred to as the “Untouchable Queen” is a powerful Pandora from the series Freezing. Pandora being genetically engineered females who team up with one or more exclusive male partners, called Limiters. Their combined strength is meant to combat invading aliens known as Nova.
The “sexy version” by FREEing shows Satellizer in her most vulnerable state, trying to overcome her fear of being touched by bonding with male protagonist Kazuya Aoi.
Being a 1/4 scale, Satellizer measures a massive ~40cm / 15.7in long. Other than removable glasses and fishnet stockings the figure is semi-castoffable, allowing the owner to fully expose the chest by removing the shirt and bra.
While the anime adaptation of Freezing was mediocre at best, Satellizer was a strong character who showed both recklessness and tenderness.
For me, Satellizer el Bridget is sexiness embodied. There’s maturity, shyness, vulnerability, curves and just the right amount of exposure.

Woah a 40 cm godess, thats huge ^_^
I haven’t seen Freezing, had this character really bigger boobs :D ?
Anyway, this figure looks quite attractive and I like the glasses
The different display options are cool, I also like the look of the burgundy underwear.

She is quite the goddess and one of few figures in this category I’ve been looking forward to review for a long time.
As for your question, modifications will always be made in order to sell more Blu-ray discs.

Freeing is at it with their giant figures again. Freeing had touched upon similar sexyness with their Ryoko Asakura bunny girl figure but they sure went all out here.
I like her pose, I like how her curves are accentuated, I like that the different display options allow you to pick your poison so to speak.

Your good taste is most welcome, sir. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Freezing was one of those anime series I felt I should have liked but didn’t. The first episode was very dull and the second so bad I gave up 10 minutes in. Despite that I still quite like the supporting cast character designs.
1/4 scale, she’s huge. I’m glad Bridget has had a breast reduction. Giant breasts here would have detracted from the sexy feel of the figure. It’s interesting to hear she looks so pale. Her promo shots looked very red. I guess her skin is largely lacking shading to make it look less extreme in colour. How easy are the tights to take off / put back on and not end up ripping them?
*Mental note* Decapitation is the fastest way to undo bras, got it!
I like the last photo with the falling rose petals, very nice. Non intrusive censoring :P.

If it wasn’t for Satellizer I probably wouldn’t have made it past 2-3 episodes either. The show reminded me of Claymore a little bit in where the evil side gains the upper hand and never lets go, something not seen in most action anime these days. Those things kept me going and I ended up watching the whole thing.
The official shots are somewhat deceiving and you’ll be taken by surprise when you open up the box. I’m unsure of the editing or white balance used but it’s nothing like the real thing. The skin tone I can live with but the hair color is too washed out.
As for the stockings (and upper arm bands), it’s basically the same care as you’d handle real ones. Gently pull them up or down the legs (and arms) with two fingers or more and never directly grab the edges or you may tear them off. I’ll add that I pulled the stockings down slightly on purpose for the review to spice things up a bit, they do go further up if you so choose.
The falling rose petals shot was the first thing that came to mind when shooting this figure and I had a feeling it would be time-consuming as well so I started with that one. I had no intention of editing it afterwards or use invisible strings so it more or less came down to luck. A few dozen shots later resulted in about five decent shots and the above is the one I picked. Can’t say that I’m fully satisfied with it but I guess it turned out alright.
As always, I appreciate the input.

I received my Satellizer today (Oct 20th) and I agree with you on the colours. She looks a bit pale and her hair, well. I haven’t even seen the series, so I actually can’t judge this.
When I first saw her on Amazon Japan, I immediately fell in love with her, although I knew neither Freezing nor her character. It was just her pose and her face (With glasses! – Cute…) which oozed so much sexyness. And even if she hadn’t been castoffable, I’d have been strongly tempted to purchase her.
And I also agree with you on her shapes. She has all the right curves in all the right places. Freeing have done a magnificent job here. Some might say her boobies are still too big, but she’s perfectly right for my taste. Now all I have to do is clear some space to appropriately display her…

Glad to hear you’re happy with Satellizer.
Sometimes figures have that effect on you and like you describe it becomes irrelevant of the origin. I still try to follow the rule to only grab characters that I’ve enjoyed in anime, something I regret heavily for figures like Alter’s Dizzy or Houmei.
For a 1/4 scale FREEing certainly did a good job but the hair is a bit sloppy on their part. I’m slightly worried they’ll do the same thing with Ingrid that’s coming out next month, turning her lovely wine red hair into something ghastly. Time will tell.
Tom
Well, I imagine that the hair as such is very difficult to do in 1/4 with PVC. As for the colour, one could have expected a bit more effort, that’s right. As I said, I haven’t seen the anime, but judging by the stills available on the net, it should be much more bright yellow indeed.

I actually like her like this:

behind shot, makes her more mysterious! =)
Nightmare
Some secrets are best kept hidden, absolutely.
Satellizer doesn’t really allow you to shroud her in mystery when viewed from the front, regardless if she’s “fully” clothed or not. The idea was to portray sensuality rather than sexuality but I guess it goes both ways depending on how you want to look at it.
