It’s been 25 years since Oh My Goddess! was serialized in Japan, something that didn’t go unnoticed in the eyes of Max Factory. To celebrate one of the longest ongoing manga out there the manufacturer decided to pay tribute through a figure of the goddess Belldandy and her accompanying angel Holy Bell.
Holy Bell is hovering just above a more serene Belldandy. Max Factory have stayed true to the original artwork, most prominent in the facial features of the two characters.
Each figure includes a unique serial number on the base plaque. For being a 1/10 scale the pair leave a towering impression upon the observer measuring roughly 32 cm (12.48 in) tall.
Visually, stupendous. Assembly, a bit hit and miss. Belldandy didn’t fit properly on the base for me, leaving undesired space between goddess and surface. As for Holy Bell, getting her to fit just right on the back of Belldandy proved a daunting task in having to avoid the aforementioned hair strands with the fear of breaking any of those spectacular details. Once assembled however the figure appeared to be sturdy enough, both down below and up top.
